����1 BAC issued a discussion paper of ��Several Suggestions on Arbitration Court��s Organization of Arbitration Procedure�� on 11 August 2008, aiming to realize the autonomy of the will of the parties by the greatest extent, further exert the arbitration procedure��s advantage of flexibility and quickness, and enhance its transparency and predictability.
����2 Ten people under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Dr. Robert Briner from ad hoc Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) were invited to visit BAC on 20 August 2008.

����3 The 3rd Session of the 5th BAC Chairman Committee was held successfully on 28 August 2008, the newly revised ��Measures of Arbitrators Payment�� and newly added arbitrator list were approved by the committee. The ��Measures�� improves the standard of arbitrator payment and shall come into force since 1 Sept. 2008. Among the newly added 29 arbitrators, 5 are from Taiwan and 2 are from foreign countries (So far BAC has 364 arbitrators, 8 from Taiwan and 57 from foreign countries). The new arbitrator list is now being made and to be used formally.
����4 BAC Arbitrator Seminar (Vol. 45, No. 8, 2008) was held successfully on the international conference hall on 28 August 2008, and Mr. Liu Junhai, the famous expert on the Company Law, Professor of Renmin University of China Law School and BAC arbitrator, delivered a powerful speech of ��Leading Issues in Share Transfer Disputed Case in Company of Limited Liability��.
