杨先生于1948年出生于上海，5岁时移居香港。现任海事、商事仲裁员；香港国际仲裁中心（Hong Kong International Arbitration Center,简称HKIAC）主席；中国政法大学、大连海事大学及香港城市理工大学等十余所著名大学客座教授。主要著作有：《国际商务仲裁》（中国政法大学出版社）、《英美合约法》（中国政法大学出版社）、《国际商务游戏规则：英美证据法》（法律出版社）等。

　　杨良宜先生现任亚太区域仲裁组织主席，曾任香港国际仲裁中心主席，是国际资深仲裁员，具有极为丰富的国际仲裁案件办理经验。本次沙龙活动，杨良宜先生将围绕国际仲裁案件中的“证据”，从以下多个方面和角度系统阐述这一核心问题：

-the importance of evidence to fact-finding by an Arbitrator;
-the types of evidence; the concept of privilege in evidence;
-the IBA Rule of Evidence;
-how to reduce costs by better preparation of evidence;
-the problem with expert evidence and the way to tackle,
-what must be avoided by an Arbitrator in dealing with evidence (such as: avoid receiving evidence from one party in the absence of another; avoid taking secret evidence; how to handle new evidence emerged after hearing or award being published; etc.)
-National court’s interference, if any.

　　 无论是当事人如何高效的收集、整理证据，还是仲裁员如何利用不同种类的证据查明案件事实，都是理论和实务界的热点问题。本次杨良宜先生的演讲将会对国际贸易及国际商事仲裁领域参与者的实际操作经验积累大有裨益。
